Designer Style Baby Wrap Minus Designer Price
When my 3yr old was born we learned that swaddling helped make a calmer baby. Just wrapping a blanket never stayed, so we bought a few swaddler wraps that closed with velcro and they were sooo handy - especially at night. I've seen some designer ones with adorable prints but the price tag was not adorable, so I came up with my own version.
I really liked the unusual color combo in this print and added some chocolate bias tape to make the brown in the print "pop" more and included some double wide 2" velcro sections to make it nice and adjustable. I decided lining it would just make it too hot with clothes underneath, so this softweight flannel should be cuddly but light.

How cute - I love that print and the bias tape sets if off perfectly.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. I'd had the same print in fleece that I made into toddler pants in the fall, but it pilled something horrible. This should look good at least as long as it fits!
