After such a great response to my Little Owl Baby Dress Tutorial I am happy to finally have a pattern to share with all of you! Just click on the link below. I hope this works out - it's my first attempt at a printable pattern.
It should fit 0-6mos (just don't forget to add a seam allowance!). I'd suggest adding 5/8in to all seam edges to make this work for 6-12mos and for 12-18mos also add an extra 1.5in to the bottom hem (or leave as is to wear as a cute top instead). For anyone just finding this, use the tutorial link above to get step-by-step on how to make a cute little dress with this pattern. I would LOVE to see any dresses made from this, so please do share pics! As with most blogger patterns, this is for personal use only and please credit me if you post this pattern & tutorial anywhere else. Have fun!

So I just thought I would tell you how much I LOVE your pattern. I made a bunch of your dresses, added things, and have been using your pattern as the basis for creating my own patterns. Thanks so much for posting this it has made my sewing much easier.
ReplyDeleteGlad my pattern helped - would love to see more of your dresses - link them up to the Craftastic Monday party so everyone can see your cute work!

ReplyDeleteTerrific! Looks great & I love the print you chose:)
DeleteI made it today! I used fabric from a dress that's too small for me now and it looks pretty cute. My model is still in utero, so I will check fit when she's born in a couple of months. :)
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear that Krysti! Would love to see a pic of your dress:)
DeleteI love this pattern! Please tell me, How much seam allowance would I need for a 3month old? You say the pattern can be for a 0-6mo, so do I just add 5/8"?
ReplyDeleteIt is a single size that fits approximately 0 to 6 months, so you wouldn't need to add anything. The seam allowance is included.
DeleteHola llevo mucho tiempo buscando el patron de este vestido me encanto desde la primera vez que lo vi pero la talla es muy pequeña, ya que yo lo necesitaria para 6 años, Que tendria que hacer
ReplyDeleteMuchas gracias tienes cosas maravillosas
Muchas gracias por sus amables palabras. Me gustaría poder ayudarte, pero sólo hizo que el tamaño de uno para este vestido y no hay manera fácil de aumentar esta versión tanto.
