I hand embroidered the little sayings on the hearts with embroidery floss and attached the backs of the hearts when I pressed in my snap closures on the shoes and then stitched the front hearts to them. It was really easy to put everything together and since I used fleece, I didn't have to finish the edges or line them, which made it soooo simple.
The shoe pattern I created is just 3 pieces and minimal assembly. It worked so well & was so fast to make, I decided to make another pair with some flannel & knit scraps. I love how a change of fabrics creates a different look. A great Valentine's treat for little feet!
