Better Parties, Less Work!

Do you love pretty parties?  I know I do.  Putting together your own can seem like a big job though.  But there's help out there!  A few weeks ago I showed the Red Riding Hood party above that I collaborated on with Bird's Party.  Bird's blog is a treasure trove of great party ideas, tutorials and features.  There's even a link party to show off your own parties the first week of each month.

And now, thanks to Bird, there's a free Party Guide e-zine that shows how to easily put together the perfect themed parties on your own.  Tips & tricks, theme ideas and vendor sources to easily find all the little accents.  Sooooo helpful.  And pretty to look at too.  Check these pages out:

I used the DIY Cupcake Stand directions in it (using basic supplies from around the house)

And added some cupcakes with modeling chocolate stars for my son's 5th birthday for a super birthday dessert presentation:

I literally made it the night before in about 10 minutes and it cost $0.  And she also sells awesome customizable party printables too, so it's easy to make things look party perfect  How cute are these??

And if you make something perfect for parties, Bird is looking for additional sponsors for the new Spring issue coming out soon.  It's a great way to give your goods some added exposure.  Just contact Bird for more info.  It's definitely gotten my little shop some extra attention:

So head on over to get a dose of party inspiration!
