Recently I was asked by one of my favorite sponsors,
if I would make a video tutorial for their new YouTube channel, Sew Timeless. They asked for an outdoors eating-themed project to go with their new fabric collection called Fruit A La Carte, so I created this Roll-Up Silverware Organizer.
This was my first video tutorial, but a lot of fun to make & it's so cool to see it up there!
I designed this project so it's easy enough for a beginner to create and this handy organizer makes it simple & stylish to transport all your serving stuff to the patio, park or anywhere else you want it to go. Much cuter than tossing your utensils in a boring old bag:
Timeless Treasures also gave me some of these fab fabrics to giveaway to a lucky Sew Can Do reader so you can make your very own Roll-Up Silverware Organizer (or whatever else you feel like making).
The giveaway winner will receive a Fruit A La Carte by Hoodie fabric prize pack, courtesy of Timeless Treasures consisting of:
- 7/8yd of Pineapple on Aqua Cotton Fabric
- 1/2yd of Chocolate Dots Cotton Fabric
- 1/8yd of Strawberry on White Laminated Cotton
The pineapple & dot fabrics are perfect for placemats, aprons, bags & more!
You may remember the Strawberry Laminated cotton from my Strawberry Placemat Tutorial from CraftShare:
And the "skinny strip" cut of laminated cotton is perfectly sized for making wallets & coasters (see my super easy tutorial here). Ready to enter?

ReplyDeleteI think that I'd make little coasters with the strawberry laminated fabric, and a little fabric basket with the pineapple and chocolate dots fabric. It can sit beside my coffee maker and hold the stuff I need to make coffee!

ReplyDeleteI love the summery pineapples. It would be great for a set of coasters and a hot-dish mat.
