September's First Craftastic Link Party!

Wow it's officially September - bring on Fall and all the great seasonal crafts that come with it!

I have to admit I am in major creative sewing withdrawl right now.  My sewing machine broke down (not surprising given the workload it has had the past 3 yrs), but since the repair shop is backed up it's been weeks since I had my trusty friend by my side.  My mom has let me borrow hers so I can keep up with my shop orders, but it's like borrowing someone else's glasses - you can kind of see ok, but it's not crystal clear.  Here's hoping this week I'll get the call that my little guy is ready to come home.  I may have to throw him a party I've missed him that much.  Yes, I know...crafting addict right here.

But seeing last week's party links gave me something to look forward to - here are a few faves:

About Blogging Time shared this pretty tea-light project.  A little toile print tissue paper + Mod Podge and a glass container is now designer-style!

I love the quick-sew design of this cute mini comfy skirt from Better Together.  It looks like smocking, but it's not!  Check out the tutorial to make your own.

How cute (and tasty) are these little octopus cupcakes from Seven Year Cottage?  There's an easy how-to so you can make some for yourself.

The Kids Can Craft Always Going Link Party's "Pick of the Week" was One Artsy Mama's nature scavenger collage.  A great way to enjoy the new season and get crafty with it!

The Kids Can Craft Party is for projects kids can make.  It's always open to add your links and the projects do not have to be new (so if you've got a good one from last year, throw it up there!).  You can link up ANYTIMEJust click HERE to get to that party.  Please remember to link back or put the Kids Can Craft button on your blog so you have a chance to get featured:)

Ready to link up?
Party rules are simple:

  • As long as it's crafty and made by you it's Craftastic (no links to giveaways, shops, other link parties or other people's work - THEY WILL BE REMOVED).  Just add the link to your specific post (not the main page of your blog).
  • Grab my party button & put it on your post or blog.  The code's on the sidebar ->
  • Check out some of the other great links and share some crafty comment love.
I leave the party open until 10:00pmEST every Friday, so there's plenty of time to add your newest creations.  Have a great, crafty week!!
