Some "Pin" New Coming to Sew Can Do!

I wanted to share something new that you can find at Sew Can Do starting in December:

Are you like me and pin loads of things via Pinterest and think "Oh that's such a great idea - I'm going to try that!" and then never do?  Kara from Happy Go Lucky decided to do something about that with a party for sharing items you've tried from your Pinterest boards: The Pinterest Challenge
With a team of "pinheads" sharing their latest projects made from someone else's project they've pinned, and a link party for everyone else to share what they've done, it's a great way to stop procrastinating and start trying those pins we love.
The pinheads are:
Amanda from Ninth Street Notions
Ashlee from I’m Topsy Turvy
Kara from Happy Go Lucky
And now yours truly will be joining in as a pinhead hostess each month too!
Last month's Pinterest Challenge Collage
The link party starts the first week of each month and includes a collage of projects tried by the hostesses to get you "pinspired".  I'm really excited to share what I've created and to find some great new ideas from you too.  It's a great way to get motivated and keep creating!  I hope you'll join in with us when the newest challenge starts next week.

And don't worry, The Craftastic Monday Link Party will still be every Monday,
I'll just be adding the Pinterest Challenge the first Tuesday of each month;)

Happy Pinning AND Project Doing!!

  1. What a brilliant idea!
I try to stop pinning and start making myself, and created a special board to help me keep it up.

There's some new things coming on the board as well, but I have to wait 'till they are unwrapped at x-mas.

(if you think it's okay for me to share my link here.. if not, just remove it)

  2. Thank you for featuring my cookies Cheryl. I really like the idea of the packing tape transfers.
