How about making yourself some stylish new bags?  Ones that rival the looks of the high end boutiques.  Check out today's special deal & giveaway from:

One lucky winner will receive a
$20 gift certificate to ChrisW Designs!

ChrisW Designs offers designer bag patterns for all skill levels.  Backpacks, totes and fashionable handbags - there's a pattern for every style.  Pick your favorite fabric combinations and make a bag that's truly your own.

All ChrisW Designs patterns have skill level ratings, suggested fabrics, loads of color photos for every step and hardware source recommendations so you can find the perfect combinations for your bag making needs.  If you've even wanted to try using feet, rivets, rings or snaps on a bag, but wanted a little guidance - here's your chance!

Check out the Bella.  It's got a chic look and loads of pockets inside and out:

The Evelyn has the perfect on-trend look that works well with solids and prints:

Or go for one of the cute clutch styles like Kiss and Eve:

There is even this fabulous FREE bag pattern called the Coco available to download:

I got a chance to try out the Evelyn bag pattern myself.  Following it was easy - there's no chance of getting lost or confused thanks to the clear directions and photos for every step. I also really liked that there was a text only version of the instructions at the end so I could use that by my side at my machine and not have to print off loads of pages.  I used a butterfly print corduroy I had in my stash and am really happy with the results.

It's got all the details of a fancy branded bag, but it's my own handiwork.

And I have to share an inside scoop on saving $$ on the hardware.  A lot of oval ring suppliers can charge a lot for rings plus shipping costs, so I went to the hardware store and bought some chain link (in that width) by the foot.  I asked them to cut every other ring off so I ended up with the 5 rings I needed for just $1.42 - almost a tenth of the price of purse supply places!
